    National Hip Hop Preservation, Education and Promulgation Act

     

    Key Result Area 1: Document the significance of Hip Hop properly and effectively as a true American artform.  

     

    Goal 1: To Preserve an Advance Appreciation for Hip Hop as ClassicalAmerican Music. 

     

    Objective 1: To gainCongressional introduction and passage of the National Hip Hop Preservation, Education, and Promulgation Act.  

    Objective 2: To gain State andLocal passage of the Hip Hop Preservation Act.  

    Objective 3: To Support the Research, Study and Presentation of the Historical and Cultural Foundations of Hip Hop as an American Artform.  

    Objective 4: To Document HipHop and its Bronx Beginning as a United Urban Youth Culture.  

    Objective 5: To focus on HipHop and the historical development of Black music art during June “Black Music Month.”

    Recognition for Hip Hop and its Pioneering Practitioners as Contributors to the Development of a True American Artform


    Goal 2: To Gain Recognition for Hip Hop and its Pioneering Practitioners as Contributors to the Development of a True American Artform. 

     

    Objective 1: To attain Presidential Medals of Freedom for Hip Hop Founders.

    Objective 2: To attain Congressional Gold Medals  for Hip Hop Founders.

    Objective 3: To attain Honorary Doctorate Degrees for Hip Hop Founders .

    Recognition for Hip Hop and its Pioneering Practitioner as Contributors to the Development of a World Cutlture

     

    Goal 3: To Gain Recognition for Hip Hop and its Pioneering Practitioners as Contributors to the Development of a World Culture 

     

    Objective 1: To promote Hip Hop as a “World Culture” as a feature of the “United Nations Decade for People of
    African Descent 2015-2024” and its theme of “People of African Descent,
    Recognition, Justice, and Development.”  

    Objective 2: To conduct programming centered on the recognition component of the UN Decade for People of African Descent “to promote a greater knowledge of and respect for the diverse heritage, culture, and contribution of people of African descent to the development of societies.”  

    Objective 3: To gain recognition and celebration for Hip Hop as a world culture music and art forms by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).  

    Objective4: To have a WorldConcert highlighting the Hip Hop Diaspora.

    Discussions, Hybrid (Onsite and Virtual) Meetings and Conferences, and Traveling Museum

     

    Goal 4: To organize a Traveling Museum and Exhibition dedicated to the subject of Hip Hop as an American artform. Discussions, Hybrid (Onsite and Virtual) Meetings and Conferences.

     

    Objective 1: To displayfindings of the Research Study of the Historical and Cultural Foundations of Hip Hop as an American Artform .

    Objective 2: Exhibit items related to the beginnings of Hip Hop .

    Objective 3: Host localprogramming and present local Hip Hop personalities in conjunction with the Traveling Museum.
